Looks like there is a whole lot to get excited about. I know we've been here before but AMD is never one to be counted out.

AMD getting back in the game in some form should only be a good thing.

Intel's mainstream CPUs aren't too badly priced, but they're not offering any of the nice stuff under $200. If competitive pressure from AMD can change that, it would be a good thing. If they can force the E series CPUs and motherboards down in price as well, even better.

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath yet. But I agree if AMD can pull off some actual competition it will be better for everyone.
If you make it idiot proof, they will just make a better idiot.
